FAQ

Questions, answered.

The questions Jacksonville homeowners ask us most — answered plainly.

Do you handle permits and HOA approvals?

Yes — completely. We prepare, submit, and carry every permit, engineering stamp, and HOA architectural review the project requires. You approve the design; we handle the paperwork.

How long does a paver driveway or patio take?

Most residential driveways and patios are completed within days once work begins — the exact schedule depends on size, demolition, and drainage work. You receive a published schedule before we start, and we keep it.

How much does a paver project cost?

It depends on area, material, and the ground beneath it — which is why we quote only after seeing the site. The estimate is free, and the proposal you receive is fixed: materials, engineering, and schedule, with no surprises after signing.

Why pavers instead of poured concrete?

Poured concrete cracks against Florida’s shifting sandy soils, and repairs never match. Interlocking pavers flex with the ground, drain by design, and any future repair is invisible — lift, re-bed, relay.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Marblu is a licensed Florida contractor and carries comprehensive liability insurance. License and insurance documentation is available on request with every proposal.

Will a screen enclosure survive a hurricane?

Our enclosures are engineered to Florida Building Code wind loads, with stamped engineering and permits managed by us. The structure, anchoring, and gutter systems are designed as one load path into the foundation.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the greater Jacksonville area — Duval, St. Johns, Clay, and neighboring Northeast Florida communities, from Jacksonville Beach to Nocatee and beyond.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards, Zelle, and Venmo, with a payment schedule tied to project milestones — never full payment up front.

Can I see the design before construction starts?

Yes — every project can begin with a professional 3D design of your actual space: materials, colors, furniture, and elevations. You walk through the finished result before a single paver is ordered.
